About retreat

Ever wondered why you feel so different after a yoga class compared to other gym or exercise classes?
This is the retreat for you. In alignment with the autumn equinox we will start to slow down and take some time to explore yogic philosophy. The building blocks and foundation of our yoga practice going forward.

Why this retreat?
For an authentic and genuine yoga retreat experience. No boujie distractions or jam-packed entertainment schedules. This is not just a random holiday with some yoga exercise classes thrown in. This is a lovingly curated and introduction into the roots of why yoga works – the yogic philosophy and how much more there is than all those poses you see on Instagram. Time to be present with your inner self and connect with Mother Nature.

A 5 day journey.
Imagine waking to the quiet beauty of the pine forest, beginning your day with invigorating movement, nourishing food, and into meaningful conversations with women who are also seeking something deeper. This is an invitation to step away from the noise of daily life and immerse yourself in a wholesome, transformational experience rooted in yoga, philosophy, community, and personal growth.
Over five days and four nights, you’ll explore not only the physical practice of yoga but the timeless wisdom behind it. Together, we will reflect on the teachings that have guided practitioners for thousands of years and discover how they can support us in navigating modern life with greater clarity, purpose, and peace.
Whether you are new to yoga philosophy or looking to deepen your understanding, this retreat offers a welcoming space to learn, grow, rest, and reconnect.
Spaces are intentionally limited to create a supportive experience.

Is this the right time for me to go on retreat?
All year round hustle and grind has been glorified for far too long. Carefully timed with the autumn equinox and lunar calendar, this is exact time to start practising slowing down in true alignment with Mother Nature. The more we fight the seasonal rhythm of the earth the more our bodies continue to hold subconcious stress.

Is this retreat for me?
This retreat is designed for women who:
– Want to deepen their relationship with yoga beyond the physical practice
– Feel called to slow down and reconnect with themselves
– Crave meaningful conversations and authentic connection
– Want to learn yoga philosophy in an accessible and practical way
– Appreciate simplicity, nature, and mindful living
– Seek a retreat experience that feels grounded, humble, and genuine

No advanced yoga experience is required.

Daily Yoga Practice
Each day includes thoughtfully guided yoga sessions suitable for a range of experience levels. Practices will focus on mindful movement, breath awareness, and cultivating presence rather than achieving perfect poses.

  • The Eight Limbs of Yoga
  • Living yoga beyond the mat
  • Ahimsa (Compassion) in daily life
  • Self-study and personal growth
  • Finding balance through ancient wisdom
  • Practical applications of yogic teachings

These sessions are designed to make yoga philosophy relevant, accessible, and transformative.

Meditation & Reflection
Through guided meditation, journaling, and periods of quiet reflection, you’ll have the opportunity to integrate your experiences and listen more deeply to your inner voice.

Nourishing Meals
Enjoy wholesome vegan (+/- gluten free) meals prepared with care, supporting both wellbeing and connection. Mealtimes become an opportunity to slow down, savour, and share meaningful conversations.
